The Alien Processor is a type of placeable structure that is used to manufacture both the Drive and the Warp Core.
Obtainment[]
The most common way to obtain the Alien Processor is to do a quest from Saffra. After talking to Saffra, you must find a "shiny object". Saffra will provide the Alien Processor if you give her a Moonstone, Shockstone, or Core Rock. After you give Saffra the "shiny object", she will provide you with a blueprint of the Alien Processor. You can place this Alien Processor anywhere you like on the ground.
In the Proxima Centauri System, Klein will give you an untranslated version of the Alien Processor if he's given three or more biological pieces of Ball Lightning. The untranslated Alien Processor works exactly the same as the translated version.
Appearance[]
The Alien Processor looks very similar to the Macerator aside from the bars of blue light.
Usage[]
The Alien Processor can be used to manufacture the Drive and the Warp Core.
To make the Drive, You must first find and obtain Ball Lightning. Ball lightning can be found by using explosive charges on Umbriel or Thoth. After finding the Ball Lightning, you can click on the top of the Alien Processor, and it will shoot out a Drive of the metal tube.
To make the Warp Core, you must first find and obtain Red matter. Red matter can be found in a randomly chosen medium sized Saturnian moon or dwarf planet or in Nephthys in the Proxima Centauri System. After finding Red matter, you can click on the top of the Alien Processor and it will shoot out a Warp Core of the metal tube.
Trivia[]
- This building, being alien technology, uses a different operating system than all of the other buildings. Regular buildings use Windows, while the Alien Processor uses Linux.
