Astronomical objects are masses of material in space that have a well-defined volume and are created by natural causes.
Astronomical objects can belong in one or more of the following categories:
- Asteroids
- Dwarf Planets
- Planets
- Moons
- Stars
These are NOT astronomical objects:
- Any structures built by mankind and floating in space, whether freely or orbiting. This includes space stations and spacecraft.
