Solar System Exploration 2 Wiki

Enceladus is one of the Saturnian moons and one of the smallest moons of the game. Enceladus itself sports no unique features gameplay wise, although it is one of the most reflective celestial bodies in the game.

Appearance[]

Enceladus is an icy ball that is primarily made up of snow and glacier material. It's very spiky on some sides and is one of the only places with Cryovolcanoes. Despite this, Enceladus does not have a sub-surface ocean in-game.

Gameplay[]

Enceladus is a highly dangerous place to base on, and one of the places in the game that requires a jetpack for safe mobility. Enceladus's poor gravity and small size means that if you jump or walk off, its gravity will not be able to recapture you. Like most other Saturnian moons, it also has decent metal and water and no natural gas.

Enceladus is also hollow, which means an underground base is possible and reduces the risk of being sucked into Saturn. Enceladus's core is also just a singular brick.

Enceladus has lots of water. The extraction of water is doubled here.
