The game has several endings that occur under specific conditions, but usually when the game would otherwise be softlocked or when there is no place to spawn.

Earth being destroyed
Melancholia[]
If no planets have active spawns and no planets are terraformed when the rogue planet Nibiru hits the Earth, you will get Melancholia. This can also happen if the player who fully industrialized the only planet in the server leaves before the Earth is destroyed. Once this happens, the following message will occur:
Well, would you look at that? Life on Earth has been exterminated by Nibiru, and by extension all known intelligence in the observable universe. Ain't that grand? Don't worry just yet, you can always play again, and hopefully fortune will favor you that time.
Earthsicle[]
Formerly, this ending would appear when Earth was frozen.
Why did we start the war? It didn't have to end this way.
Siphoning Invasion[]

The first image taken of the Siphoning Invasion ending
If 4/5 drills are placed on Callisto (which most people never do), the siphoning ship will come out, and it will move towards Earth to suck its ocean. If no other planets are industrialized/terraformed, then the game will end and this message will appear:
It comes as no surprise that limited water would be the cause of our future woes. In a strange twist-of-fate, it happened like this.

When no proper publicly available industry exists on Mars, spawns on the planet will be disabled. If no other planets are properly colonized, the game will end, showing one of the three following messages depending on certain conditions.

Mars ending when Venus has been abandoned
Venus previously abandoned[]
If Venus is fully terraformed when the last industry on Mars snuffs out, then this message will be shown in the end screen:
The stories of Mars and Venus go hand-in-hand. Though the Humans always had a fascination with the planet Mars, they dabbled in another sibling planet, Venus. As Venusian civilization declined, they fled to Mars. This is where Humanity dug its grave.
Ganymede previously abandoned[]
Although the message mentions defeating the Galileans, this condition does not need to be met for this message to be displayed. If the conditions for the Venusian abandonment ending are not met, the game will check to see if Ganymede has been fully terraformed. If it has, the following message will be shown at the end screen instead:
Humans were quite an interesting species. When faced with the death of their planet, they shot far, and fought hard. Even with their primitive chemical rockets, they went head-to-head with the Galileans and pushed their influence, never going for easy targets. So why, then, did they go out with a whimper?
Mars-only ending[]
If none of the other Martian endings have their conditions met, this message will be shown in the end screen:

Mars-related ending
They say to 'never put all your eggs in one basket'. Even when faced with the Nibiru cataclysm, the Humans didn't learn their lesson, opting to stay on Mars rather than keeping their grips on the Solar System. It didn't have to end this way. We would have loved to meet them.

First screenshot of a Venus-related Ending
Mars previously abandoned[]
If Mars is fully terraformed before the last industry on Venus snuffs out, then this message will be shown in the end screen:
If there were ever a tale of two planets, it would be the tale of Mars and Venus. Mars was always the Humans' first pick, but they slowly realized it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. They moved to Venus, but even then, they couldn't adapt. Perhaps they were doomed from the start.
Mars is not colonized, aliens attacks are underway[]
Humans could never get the end of it. First the escaped Earth during the Nibiru cataclysm, then they had to escape Mars when it had succumbed to Galilean invasion. Maybe they saw the pattern, and decided to end it.
Mars is not colonized, aliens are not attacking[]
Humans were always quite stubborn. Even with the end of Earth, they just moved on to its twin, Venus. And for what? Just to die by choice rather than at the hands of nature?

Ending when Ganymede is the last and only world to be abandoned.
If Ganymede is the last team to die out, this ending message will show:
They say Humanity was born on Earth, and it wasn't meant to die there. They got their wish.

Titan ending after Patch 20.4
In Patch 20.4, Titan was given its own unique ending and text instead of showing the same ending as Ganymede:
Moving from planet-to-planet, they exhausted the resources of each, until they reached the very end of their journey. Don't cry, because this was inevitable. It was their own doing.
Non-specific ending[]

In Patch 20.4, this ending was added for when the last remaining team that is removed is not on Mars, Venus, Ganymede, or Titan:
In this day and age, we are more isolated. Humanity died without a home.
Trivia[]
- "Melancholia" ending refers to the movie "Melancholia" which tells a story about a rogue planet named Melancholia colliding with the Earth, and what characters do before disaster comes.
- Ganymede's Ending description references Cooper from Interstellar's famous quote: "Mankind was born on Earth, it was never meant to die here."
- In Mini-Update 20.3, the server would never end, even if there weren't any working spawns.
