The Europan Cave Squid is a large, pale, and hostile creature that inhabits the subsurface oceans of Europa.
The cave squid is, for the most part, blind, due to the marginal amount of light present in the subsurface environment of the Europan oceans. They maintain vestigial eye sockets. They may appear similar to the Galilean Squid, but are completely unrelated as life arose separately on Europa and Callisto.
The cave squid has thick tentacles for swimming, and a few differentiated tentacles dedicated to stinging prey. When the squid feels that it has stung something, it will eat it.
