Mimas

Mimas is one of the moons that orbits Saturn and is one of the smallest moons in the game. Mimas itself is rather uninteresting, being a gray ball that can be hard to distinguish between other moons of its kind.

Mimas has a large crater called the Herschel Crater, although it is barely visible in-game.

Appearance[]

Mimas's only unique attribute appearance-wise are the ragged spikes that can be found on its surface, as well as the pattern of materials. The ragged spikes are comparable to Miranda, just shorter.

Gameplay[]

It has decent amount resources just any of the other Saturnian moons, however it has no natural gas. Bringing a Jetpack is required due to Mimas being the celestial body with the lowest gravity in the game (besides Phobos and Deimos which have no gravity or SOI) not being able to recapture you.

Trivia[]

In real life, it is the smallest astronomical body that is known to still be round in shape because of self-gravitation. In game however, it shares that title with Miranda, Enceladus, Charon and Alcaeus.
In real life, Mimas has a resemblance to the Death Star, hence the title "That's no moon" from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
