Nephthys (/ˈnɛfθɪs/, NEF-thees) is the natural satellite of Osiris and is the only moon in the Proxima Centauri System. Along with Khnemu, it is the only celestial body in its system to have gas. This moon has various similarities to Callisto because of its color palette, its size, and because both have gas. This moon is also the only place to obtain Red Matter in the Proxima Centauri System.
Appearance[]
The surface is rather mundane, being incredibly similar to Callisto and Haumea. The inside is hollow, except for the core which is indestructible.
Colonization[]
Nephthys has all 3 resources, but in low amounts, meaning you could make a colony here without junction chains or drones. The main reason why people colonize this moon is to get Warp Cores from the Red Matter than can be obtained here.
Trivia[]
- Nephthys was originally planned to be the size of Mars, but due to it being half the size of Osiris, and at that scale, it would make Osiris less huge by comparison, Alphium decided not to make it that big. This would likely explain why the gravity was halved from 60% to 30% after Release 21 Prerelease 2.
- This object, along with Thoth, is not an analogue of any real-world celestial object of Proxima Centauri.
