Solar System Exploration 2 Wiki

The Private Server Tool is a tool, unique to private server owners, that allows them to do things such as giving themselves buildings or cash, or instantly terraforming entire planets.

Due to the restrictions imposed on private server players entering Proxima Centauri, this tool cannot be carried over to the system and will be replaced with the default set of items.

Capabilities[]

The private server tool has many functions, which are listed below:

Items[]

  • Giving the user 1 million cash
  • Giving every player on the server 1 million cash

  • Giving a user a pumpjack (listed as 'fracker'), with materials. This is, along with the drill, the only current way of obtaining materials.
  • Giving the user a depot
  • Giving the user a factory
  • Giving the user a dome
  • Giving the user a mill
  • Giving the user a pickaxe
  • Giving the user an explosive charge

World[]

Saving[]

  • Overwriting your current save
  • Loading your current save

Bugged Capabilities[]

These features are still present in the menu, but appear to do nothing when pressed, for example:

  • Freezing or thawing Earth doesn't appear to work at the moment.

Trivia[]

  • This tool cannot give spawns or junctions.
  • It is also not capable of summoning creatures, with the Summoning Staff gamepass serving that role instead.
  • In Release 21 Pre-Release 1, it was possible to carry over the server tools and give yourself the tools to colonize Proxima Centauri without even having to bring them from the main Solar System, this however was patched in Pre-Release 2
  • You could've been able to pause Nibiru, stopping it from colliding with Earth at all, this was removed because it got broken after Nibiru got revamped. In Nibiru's code, it knows where its meant to be and counts as moving towards Earth even when "paused" so that when you'd unpause Nibiru, it would "teleport" to where it actually was, possibly still colliding with Earth in the process.
