Solar System Exploration 2 Wiki

Teams are created by spawns. They determine your affiliation and access permissions to celestial bodies, structures, and vehicles. Teams are mostly based on planetary systems, and each team corresponds to a specific planet or group of moons. You are automatically placed into a team when you spawn on or colonize a body. The table of contents will contain the following information: team name, color, and celestial bodies associated with each team.

Additional Notes[]

  • Teams are often essential for access to locked resources, claiming territories, and protection from other players or events.
  • Spawns determine team assignment; removing a spawn can remove a team.
  • Spawns create teams that prevent the server from ending when the team is from a planet or moon that is terraformable.
