Tutorial Moon is the sole natural satellite of Tutorial Earth, just like the actual Moon, it produces Moonstones. It is positioned rather close to Tutorial Earth (so the player doesn't run out of fuel mid-trip.)
Appearance[]
Unlike with the other two celestial bodies in the Tutorial System, the Tutorial Moon is just a sphere with a checkerboard pattern and has no prominent features. It is also the smallest celestial body in the system, being 256 studs wide.
Purpose[]
Tutorial Moon's purpose in the tutorial is to show players how to obtain cash, simply build a rocket, and fly to the Moon. An interesting thing to note is that you can pick up more than 3 moonstones, they are in groups of 3 however.
Trivia[]
- The Moonstones created on Tutorial Moon look different than the normal moonstones seen in the Solar System, and the sole reason being that they are just reflecting the skybox, so they aren't different.
- Tutorial Moon was introduced in Beta 5 along with Tutorial Earth, unlike The Red Planet.
